Quest for the right ingredients
Chef Adrian was born in Hong Kong and spent his childhood in London, Canada, and the US.
His father was chef and manager of a Chinese restaurant group. Living abroad his father always complained about the lack of ingredients to recreate classic traditional dishes. They used to take long family road trips into Chinatown to stock up on groceries for the restaurant.
Twenty years later, Adrian became an exporter for a large corporation for Asian food products. He wishes to help restaurateur and cooks find the right ingredients to recreate the classic dishes, the same one that he’s enjoyed. Sharing a dish and passing down a recipe is a custom and tradition that should be kept.
